My experience of education in Africa results from spending two years as a VSO volunteer with the Ministry of Education in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) advising (?) on teacher education, helping out with the Civics and English education departments and researching higher education student support which included a week spent in Kampala, Uganda. I later did research into student behaviour management in Rwanda with VSO and the School Inspectorate. These images of schools, colleges and students will hopefully give an impression of what is being achieved - and the problems faced.
